The Kripalu Yoga and Wellness Center's mission is dedicated to promoting the integration of body, mind
and spirit through the teaching of yoga and health related programs, and to providing services to nurture personal growth
and community.
Yoga is a holistic way to unite body and mind for greater well-being and serenity. It has been practiced
for thousands of years to bring stillness to the mind and health and vitality to the body. Yoga helps bring rebalancing
to the nervous system. "Yoga" means union, harmony and balance through regular practice that includes postures
(
asanas), breathing (
pranayama), meditation and resolve (
sankalpa).
